Every journey begins with that first step. Through NAMIWalks’
public, active display of support for people affected by mental
illness, we are changing our American communities and
ensuring that help and hope are available for those in need.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern
Shenandoah Valley (NSV) is asking you to support our annual
Walk-A-Thon benefiting individuals, their families and others
affected by mental illness in the City of Winchester and the
counties of Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, Warren, and Page.

Why Is this Walk important to NAMI NSV?  This event brings together
family members, community leaders, neighbors, and friends to raise
crucial funds for NAMI’s unique programs, promote awareness of mental
illness, and celebrate recovery. 100% of the funds raised go to provide cost
free NAMI NSV Support groups, Educational classes, and anti-stigma
Advocacy community presentations that can lead to mental health
recovery right here in our very own community.
(All meetings and Services are FREE!!)

Walkers may participate individually, or as part of a team.
